Glencairn Appoints Account Executive to Drive New Food & Drink Recall Initiative

London, February 24, 2011 – Glencairn, a company within Faber & Dumas, the third-party wholesale brokerage arm of global insurance broker Willis Group Holdings (NYSE: WSH), today announced that Jamie Webb has been appointed Account Executive, Glencairn Casualty, effective immediately. Webb will establish a contaminated products initiative to complement the team’s existing automotive and engineering recall and guarantee capabilities.
 
Based in London, Webb will report to Charles Lane, Head of Glencairn Casualty, and will work alongside the Richard Oliver International automotive team to develop a specific contaminated recall product. Richard Oliver International, a trading name of Glencairn Limited, is the premier London Market broker for automotive recall business.
 
Webb joins Willis with over ten years experience in the insurance industry, including broker roles within RK Harrison and Heath Lambert. Most recently Webb was the product recall underwriter at XL Insurance in London.
 
Commenting on Webb’s appointment Lane said, “We are delighted to welcome Jamie to the team where we believe he will be able to bring his particular experience and skills to bear in the creation of a global food and drink recall offering for our clients. Richard Oliver International is already known as London’s pre-eminent automotive recall broker and we are determined to build upon this platform in order to extend this to the consumer product side.”
